MSC Cruises has quietly built one of the most amenity-dense fleets at sea. Across ships like MSC Seashore, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Bellissima, MSC Seaview, MSC Seascape, MSC Divina, MSC Splendida, MSC Virtuosa, MSC World America, MSC Meraviglia, and MSC Fantasia, the specific features vary a lot by ship, so here’s what to actually expect from each.
Signature Features by Ship
MSC Seashore is known for its glass catwalks. MSC Seascape has a standout infinity pool. MSC Grandiosa is home to a Jean-Philippe Crêpes & Gelato counter that’s become a favorite stop for anyone with kids (or a sweet tooth). MSC Meraviglia goes further still, with a full bowling alley, a Formula 1 racing simulator, and the Galleria Meraviglia, an indoor promenade topped with an LED dome ceiling that runs a light show.
Yacht Club and Family Features
Both MSC World America and MSC Seascape offer the MSC Yacht Club experience, which includes butler service and a private pool deck reserved for Yacht Club guests only. MSC World America also has dedicated LEGO play areas, which is a genuine differentiator if you’re traveling with younger kids.
Entertainment and Dining Fleet-Wide
Across the fleet, MSC partners with Cirque du Soleil for theatrical productions you won’t find on most other lines, alongside the usual pools and waterslides. Specialty dining runs the range from steakhouses to sushi bars to Italian trattorias, which tracks with MSC’s Mediterranean roots.
The Tech and Wellness Side
The MSC for Me app handles reservations and daily scheduling fleet-wide, and select ships add a voice-activated cabin assistant called Zoe. For relaxation, the MSC Aurea Spa offers Balinese-inspired treatments, and most ships have a full wellness center with a gym and yoga classes. Kids’ clubs are organized by age group, so younger children and teens aren’t lumped into the same programming.
